The MC3 is very fast and has what people call a "staged" rocker, but the fact is that all boards are staged to some degree. What I mean is that no board has one continuous radius of curvature from nose to tail. But this one has three distinct curves; the principal one is between the feet and is pretty flat, so you can just stand there and it'll go. Then it flips up behind your back foot and in front of your front foot, making a board that drives and glides well, and turns effortlessly. The lifted entry rocker makes the board want to go up and hit it, and the tail kick keeps it tight as you redirect back down. Concave is not too deep for buttery rail to rail transitions.
